Davenport Lakes is situated just off of Highway 27 just south of the 192 (see map) which makes is very close to Walt Disney World.   In fact Epcot, MGM, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Pleasure Island and Water Mania are all within a five to fifteen minutes drive.  Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Sea World can be reached within 20 minutes by car.  The local attractions section has more information on these and other places of interest.

On the Davenport site is, of course, the lake with its' jetty and picnic area.  The is a community swimming pool, basketball area, tennis courts and childrens' play area.
