Bars and Restaurants

There are so many bars and restaurants local to Tigger Woods that we could not name them all.  Suffice it to say that a short drive along the 192 will provide you with a huge choice of places to eat and drink.

A book kept in the villa has information on some of the restaurants, bars and takeaways that we have used and our ideas on the quality of the food, service and value for money.  We invite guests to add their own comments.

Many of the restaurants will offer discounts on their prices if you take a coupon with you and books containing these are found outside many of the shops nearby.  Almost all of the eateries give excellent value for money.  Typically you will buy a soft drink as you enter the restaurant and the waiter/waitress keep filling it up until you can take no more.  Restaurants like the Golden Corral operate and buffet system allowing you to eat until you burst!

On the 192, there is a British pub (about a mile from the villa) and a sports bar if you want to pop out for a drink without having a meal.

All of the theme parks have their own restaurants.  Usually there will be several allowing you to choose from a burger and fries to A la carte.  Character restaurants are very popular with families with young children.  The Magic Kingdoms' Crystal Palace provides a pleasant meal whilst you table is visited by the likes of Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore.

At Sea World  you can book a meal with Shamu the whale or stay after hours for a Polynesian Makahiki Luau.

Be sure to book if you want to make this part of your Orlando experience!

Dinner at the Crystal Palace

Orlando also offers a number of dinner shows where you combine a meal with various forms of entertainment.  The Pirates Adventure, Dixies Stampede, Sleuths Murder Mystery, Arabian Nights and Medieval Times are the most popular.

Head for Downtown Disney in the evening and you'll be spoilt for choose of places to eat, drink and party.  Get there early is our advice or try to book.  Pleasure Island is situated Downtown as well giving you more choices to eat drink and be merry - and see in the New Year (they don't care if it's not December 31st - they see it in anyway).

CityWalk is Universals' version of Pleasure Island.  More restaurants, bars and a places to have a good time.

Of course, there is no need to eat out.  With 3 local supermarkets, a fully equipped kitchen and a B-B-Q, why not stay in, catch a movie or just watch the kids splash around in the pool.
