There is so much to do in Florida your biggest problem is likely to be choosing what to leave until next time.  In the attractions section we'll try to give you a taster of what's available and where you can go to find out more about the places you are most interested in.

It cannot be emphasized enough that this will be one holiday where you really do benefit from planning before you get there.  Decide what you would prefer to see and where you would like to eat.  If you want to swim with the dolphins it is best to book up well in advance - it is very popular.  Should space be your thing check out the NASA sites.  Our last trip coincided with a Space Shuttle launch and we chose that day to visit.  A double edged sword as it turned out - you experience the launch but check out that traffic!

Most people will choose one or more of the big parks.  By looking at the web sites relating to the park you can then decide which rides you do not want to miss and make straight for them.  Some sites will give you other hints i.e. head for your favourite ride in the Magic Kingdom just as the parade is due to start.

If you are going in the summer allow time to rest, it can be very tiring especially for young children.  Take something to keep them amused in case you are caught in a long queue.
